East Hawthorn
East Hawthorn - Auburn and Burwood Rds
East Hawthorn - 1904 image. Auburn and Burwood Rds. The chemist shop where I worked in the early 1950s is at the right, building still there but verandahs gone, now a boutique place. We lived directly opposite out of picture.
East Hawthorn - Armistice Day Celebrations 1918
Balloch's Bakery Stables. Heritage protected, 2019 view. Our place backed on to the rear, the car park at left was once a tennis court, I used to park my first car there in 1958. At that time it was used for horses.
